Assessment and use of assistive equipment, from low-cost items to more significant products like electric beds can make everyday activities/things easier.

Dementia Care
Cognitive changes or a diagnosis of dementia can impact independence with daily activities and safety at home. OT Focus can prescribe changes to the home environment or assistive technology that can help maintain independence for longer, enabling you to remain living at home.

Falls Prevention
Risk of falls increases with age and can result in significant injury or reduced function. The home is where we spend most of our time and there can be hazards within the home environment which can lead to falls. A home falls risk assessment with an OT can help to reduce the risk of falls and subsequent poor outcomes.
